As part of the MBA program at Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology, our students had the enriching opportunity to participate in an outbound training program conducted at Pegasus Institute, Doddaballapura. Nestled in a serene, nature-filled environment, the venue provided an ideal setting for experiential learning, self-reflection, and team building. The program was thoughtfully designed around the concept of “learning by doing,” engaging students in a range of physical and mental activities that promoted holistic development.
The primary objective of the training was to enhance key managerial, leadership, and teamwork skills by simulating real-world business challenges. Students were encouraged to think strategically, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, make decisions under pressure, and develop greater self-awareness.
Each activity was structured to take students out of their comfort zones and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth. They learned the importance of trust, unity, and strategic planning in achieving shared goals. The program not only sharpened their business acumen and problem-solving skills but also helped build personal confidence and mutual respect among peers.
In conclusion, the Pegasus Outbound Training Program proved to be a valuable and impactful learning experience. It contributed significantly to shaping our students into more capable, confident, and team-oriented individuals—well-prepared to take on leadership roles in the corporate world. We, as faculty members, observed remarkable growth in their interpersonal dynamics and overall attitude toward collaborative leadership.
