National Voters’ Day provides an opportunity for aspirants. This is to reflect on the importance of democracy and the role of citizens in shaping the future of the country. The main objective of NVD is to encourage, facilitate, and maximize voter enrollment. It is also a day to create awareness about the importance of voting.
National Voters’ Day is an important annual event. It is celebrated in India on 25th January to promote voter participation and awareness. It was first celebrated in 2011 and has a different theme every year. The Election Commission of India is responsible for organizing the celebrations and promoting initiatives. This is to encourage voters to participate in the democratic process.
