Prior to joining MRIT he worked as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at PESCE, Mandya, where he completed his Masters Degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing (VTU) in the year 2012. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Automobile Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering (University of Mysore), Hassan in the year 2000. Before discovering his passion for teaching and academics he has tried his hand at Automobile Maintenance and Motor Insurance. He has worked for Prerana Motors Pvt. Ltd, a TATA authorised service provider, Vijay Auto Sales and Service Pet. Ltd, a Mahindra authorised service provider and ICICI General Insurance Ltd.
He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi in the year 2022 under the guidance of Dr. T Nagaraju, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at PESCE, Mandya. His Ph.D work focussed on fatigue failure of crankshaft big end bearings of internal combustion engines due to cyclic loading.
During the course of his 12 years of teaching career he has taught many subjects including Engineering Graphics, Mechanics of Materials, Design of Machine Elements, Finite Element Methods, Mechanical Measurements and Control Engineering, Introduction to Python Programming. He is a life member of Tribology Society of India and Institute of Engineers.
