Department Overview

The Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning offers a four-year undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering program with emphasis on practical, real-world applications. Students are prepared for careers across diverse sectors including healthcare, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, robotics, and financial analytics.

Core focus areas include logical reasoning and knowledge representation, probabilistic modeling, machine learning techniques, and hands-on project-based learning.

Experience

Over 15 years of teaching experience and 5+ years of research experience. Previously served as faculty at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (Mysuru), G Madegowda Institute of Technology (Mandya), and D Banumaiah's Polytechnic (Mysuru).

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. — Visvesvaraya Technological University
  • M.Tech. — PES College of Engineering, Mandya
  • B.E. — Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru

Research & Publications

  • Published patents and research papers in national and international journals and conferences in VLSI design, AI, and embedded systems.
  • Participated in and contributed to research initiatives, FDPs, and technical workshops.
  • Involved in interdisciplinary research combining AI and electronic systems.
