In the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, students embark on a transformative journey exploring the detailed concepts of electronics and communication systems. HOD’s Profile

Dr. D J Ravi is currently heading the Electronics and Communication Engineering department at MRIT. He has a rich teaching experience of more than 30 years at various engineering colleges. Prior to joining MRIT, he was Professor and Dean Academics at Vidhyavardhaka College of Engineering, Mysuru. He has published more than 20 articles in national and international journals, presented in more than 30 national and international conferences.
He is a life member of ISTE, member of IEEE. He has been a member of Board of Studies (BoS) at NIE, Mysuru, MCE, Hassan. Four PhD students of his have been awarded PhD Degrees and he is actively guiding PhD students. His research interests are Speech Processing, Control Systems and Robotics. He teaches Control Systems, Power Electronics, Information Theory and Coding, Analog Electronic Circuits and Speech Processing.
